Well Aware funds and implements lasting clean water systems to drive development and empower communities in East Africa. To date, they continue to maintain a 100% success rate across all 130+ water projects, compared with the industry average of 40%.
100% success is only achievable due to their robust sustainability model.
Well Aware provides communities with the training and resources they need to manage those systems for generations. They have in-depth technical and local expertise, enabling them to effectively navigate the ever-changing nature of this work.

The Chris Long Foundation Programs:
a campaign founded by Chris Long that engages NFL players, professional athletes and fans to combat the water crisis. This initiative aims to provide solutions through deep borehole wells powered by solar energy in East African communities, as well as local communities across the US.
a campaign that provides clean water to communities, households, and schools in the United States. This is done by drilling wells, installing water bottle filling stations and filltration systems, or installing different solar power solutions to sustain water tanks.
a campaign launched by Megan Long that aims to bring water and life skills training to women and girls across multiple East African countries.

Well Aware maintains a 100% success rate, meaning each and every one of their water projects is still functioning and providing lasting clean water to its respective community.

These clean water systems consist of borehole wells, guttering systems to capture rainwater, UV filtration systems, water treatment systems, and more.

"When we first visited Oloile in 2021, this vibrant community of 1,000 people was struggling with a severe water crisis. Well Aware was deeply moved by their story and took action, implementing a new deep borehole to provide a sustainable water source.
Since then, Oloile has flourished. The community has grown to 5,000 members, supported by reliable access to clean water.
With 2,500 thriving trees, they have embraced self-sufficiency; cultivating their own food, running a successful feeding program, and celebrating abundant maize and banana harvests.
Their transformation is a powerful testament to resilience and the life-changing impact of clean water."
